Adele Announces 2012 U.S. Tour Dates  :
Adele fans will have the chance to roll in the deep with her soon, as the U.K. singer/songwriter has announced a monthlong North American tour in support of her soon-to-be-released sophomore album, "21." The tour, which consists of 22 announced concert dates thus far, will start May 12 in Washington, D.C. and end its run in Nashville, Tenn. on Jun. 20.

"21" is slated for a U.S. release on Feb. 22 but has already been released overseas and is No. 1 on the U.K. album chart. The set's first single, the aformentioned "Rolling in the Deep," is currently No. 69 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Tickets for Adele's tour will go on sale Feb. 11, with a pre-sale running on her website Feb. 9. The 22-year-old will also make a series of TV appearances in the U.S. this month to promote "21," including stops at "The Today Show" (Feb. 18), "Late Show with David Letterman" (Feb. 21).

Adele announces more tour dates (United Palace included) for 2012 :
Adele released her new LP 21 this week, and has added more dates to her North American tour to go with it. Tickets to her show at Beacon Theater went lickety-split back when they went on sale, so luckily she has added another NYC show happening at United Palace on May 21st. Tickets go on sale 2/26 at noon.

Adele Biography
When the UK media began calling Adele ‘the next Amy Winehouse’ in the later part of 2007, the craze didn't touch upon the heavy singer & songwriter influence found in the Londoner's music. Influenced by Suzanne Vega as much as by Jill Scott, Adele first made her impression in 2006 when she toured as an opening act for Jack Penate.

She had graduated to headlining status by the end of 2007, thanks to BBC Radio 1 playing her single ‘Daydreamer’ another song, ’Hometown Glory’ was also released as a single on Jamie T.'s label, named Pacemaker. An appearance alongside Paul McCartney and Björk on the BBC 2 television show Later with Jools Holland came next, and a recording contract with XL Recordings was finalized soon after.

Beginning of 2008 brought similar luck as Adele found herself on top of the BBC's new music talent list, which was compiled from the votes of 150 music critics. That same January, XL issued a new single, "Chasing Pavements," along with her debut album, 19. The title reflected Adele's age at the time of the album's release, and its popularity resulted in the release of several bonus editions throughout the year. Also in 2009, Adele won Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
